Cooper Mediation is pleased to announce our sponsorship of the Blues and Roots Radio International Song of the Year Competition (Male, Female, and Duo/Group).
The mediators at Cooper Mediation have a passion for music and are heavily involved in the Toronto music scene. Cooper Mediation hosts an annual music fundraiser, Vancestock, bringing musical talent to a wide ranging audience while raising funds for Trails Youth Initiatives. In addition, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cooper Mediation and the Cambridge Group of Clubs launched Vancestock Unplugged to bring an intimate listening experience for music lovers while directing all proceeds to the artists. Sponsorship of the Blues and Roots Radio International Song of the Year competition lends itself well with the firm’s passion for music and helping artists.
About The International Song of the Year Competition
Entry is now open for the 2020 International Song of the Year Competition. The closing date is December 20, 2020 with winners announced in January 2021.
The mission of this contest is to provide aspiring and established songwriters with the opportunity to have their songs heard on a professional, international award winning platform. This is the 3rd year the competition will be held. One of the aims of this competition is to “nurture the musical talent of songwriters on all levels, both amateur and professional” and to “promote excellence in the art of song craft.”
