06 Jun Logan Cooper At OBA Conference, Anatomy Of A Trial: The New Essentials – Testimony Of The Defendant
Cooper Mediation Inc. is pleased to announce that Toronto mediator Logan Cooper recently participated in the Ontario Bar Association’s conference, “Anatomy Of A Trial: The New Essentials.” Logan played the role of Witness in an event entitled, Testimony Of The Defendant.
Logan was joined by The Honourable John R. McCarthy, Superior Court of Justice who acted as the presiding judge. Jacqueline L. King of Shibley Righton LLP led the examination of the defendant and McLeish Orlando LLP’s David MacDonald cross examined. Michael Shannon of Morse Shannon LLP led a debrief and provided commentary.
This conference delivered a premier program and demonstrated trial advocacy in action wherein attendees could gain valuable knowledge, insight, and skills to navigate a trial from start to finish. Concentration was on the do’s and don’ts of effective and professional trial advocacy and considerations that go into a jury trial.
This event was held on June 15 and 16, 2023 at the OBA Conference Centre (20 Toronto Street, 2nd Floor, Toronto).
